Family Self Sufficiency Program

About FSS Appointment Request

The Family Self Sufficiency Program Is Changing Lives

Do you strive to increase your income, obtain your GED, repair your credit, obtain job security, become debt free, begin your career, further your education or obtain your driver's license?

If you answered YES to these questions, join the Family Self-Sufficiency(FSS) Program.

The FSS program is designed to provide families with support and guidance to gain or maintain financial independence.

FSS is an opportunity for you to improve your personal financial situation

FSS will put cash into a special savings account (called an escrow account) to reward you if you increase earned income and successfully complete the program. As your earned income increases, so does the amount that FSS deposits into the escrow account for you each month. FSS clients have earned upon completion amounts ranging from $500 to $12,000.

FSS provides case management support to help participants achieve goals related to employment, education, finances or even home ownership.

Your FSS Case Manager will work with you and your family to set short and long-term goals. We will identify together steps to take to achieve those goals. Your Case Manager will provide you with the guidance, resources and support you need to move forward towards self-sufficiency.
