The 50 unit Bonifield Court Housing Development is located on the east side of Zanesville,
off of Sharon Avenue. Bonifield Court residents are near the Sunrise Shopping Center,
the downtown area, and grocery/convenience stores. Residents are within walking
distance to city parks. Students attend Zanesville City Schools. The Bonifield Court
site offers 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, as well as four apartments specifically
designed for the handicapped resident. The apartments have fully equipped kitchens
and baths, washer/dryer hookups, and phone and cable connections. Residents have
the opportunity to plant flowers and maintain their own yards. The community has
playgrounds for younger children. Older children enjoy the basketball courts. |
The James D. Singer Center, at the Coopermill Manor site, is available for
scheduled sports events, Boy and Girl Scout functions, 4-H meetings, and scheduled
gatherings.
A friendly and efficient staff provides help and support when needed. There is an
on-site maintenance person, and the security officers, as well as police, patrol
the development to insure a safe community environment.
Rent is based on adjusted income. Flat rents, determined by income and bedroom size,
are also offered. Utility bills, including gas, electric, water, and sewage, are
the responsibility of the resident. Garbage is put into comman trash areas and disposed
of by the City of Zanesville. |
